This Spring Summer collection embarks us on a road trip.
Taking inspiration from iconic movies like Thelma and Louise or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas the creative director, Valentin Glémarec, wanted to capture the energy of a journey: Freedom, excitement and unforeseen consequences.
For the first time not presenting a fashion show, he decided to unveil the collection through an actual road trip of 2000 km through the United States, meeting his road companions that will become models wearing the collection under the heat and dust of the West Coast.
The collection translates this trip with raw edge tailored jackets, like the sleeves have been ripped of from an unexpected encounter or an hand-painted camo print seen on a light cotton parka or joggings – this wardrobe is made for expedition and adventure.
The street wear is also emphasized through the seasonal Muses, always worked with oil on canvas that can be either classic with a twist like a girl with a pearl earring sporting a bandana and an environmental activist Venus or completely avant-garde like an Alien becoming a muse.
The idea of up-cycling and environment is also an emphasized theme in different parts of the collection. First with the original print “Galaxy waste” designed by Valentin, a trompe l’oeil all over that appears floral from a far but is actually a succession of hazardous waste. The collaboration on leather jackets with the brand Schott also relate to this with unique up-cycled pieces painted by hands.
This season the collaboration with Christian Louboutin revisited their iconic sneaker, rangers and Chelsea boots with metallic details and a work on reflection.
We are also happy to curate young talents through accessories with the work of designer Kevin Auger on hats and caps.
This season is also an occasion for the brand to present its vision of the Icosae woman through 4 looks mixing femininity, street wear and tailoring.
